Museum and Memory Activities

Cultural institutions that wish to hold International Museum Day can raise awareness among visitors about specific needs when dealing with collections (conservation, mediation, exhibitions, digitisation, etc.).

Museums hold a great variety of objects as material evidence of our memory, and students, young people, families and artists can react to these objects in very different ways. The subject therefore needs to be interpreted in various ways in order to respect the diversity of cultural institutions and of regional and local traditions.
